The neighbourhood speaks – walkthrough the vanished Jewish neighbourhood in The Hague
Before World War Two, The Hague, and more specifically the centre of The Hague, was known for its active and thriving Jewish community. There were a lot of stores owned by Jewish people and schools with a lot of Jewish children. The synagogues in the centre of The Hague were there for the 17,000 Jewish inhabitants at that time. During the walking tour ‘The Neighborhood Speaks’, you will have the chance to walk past specific historical Jewish sites from before the war. The audio tour will guide you through these sites.
